Anne Qian Wang hails from Sydney, Australia, and is currently pursuing her D.M.A. in composition at The Juilliard School, where she also completed her M.M. and B.M. whilst studying with Melinda Wagner and Robert Beaser. Previously, she attended the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Damien Ricketson. Ms. Wang is Ear Training faculty at The Juilliard School’s Pre-College division, and her dissertation is on video game music of the 2010s. She is passionate about both music education and cross-disciplinary, collaborative art, and has enjoyed working with dancers, filmmakers, and visual artists. Her works have been performed in both the United States and in Australia, in events with Astral Artists, the Sydney International Piano Competition, and in Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
