The New York Youth Symphony is an independent, not-for-profit institution dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through the study and performance of music.  Your support helps provide young musicians with high-quality music experiences, all while keeping these opportunities tuition-free.

How your contribution helps

$50         Provides 5 tickets for NYC public school students to attend NYYS concerts

$100       Provides sheet music for musical theater songwriting students

$250       Underwrites guest artists for the chamber music and composition programs

$500       Supports orchestra coaching sessions

$1,000    Supports the Pipeline to Success

$2,500    Underwrites NYYS Jazz concerts at The TimesCenter

$5,000    Provides one full scholarship for the 2020/21 season

$10,000  Sponsors an orchestra performance at Carnegie Hall 

How to Donate

Donations can be made by clicking one of the two boxes above, over the phone by calling (212) 581-5933, or via mail by sending your donation to 110 W 40th Street, Suite 1503, New York, NY 10018. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The future of music making nationwide begins with the opportunities and dreams realized here. The annual fund supports general operations of the New York Youth Symphony allowing us to provide scholarships of up to $5,000 per student annually.

The Endowment Fund ensures that the New York Youth Symphony is able to continue its vital mission of providing outstanding performance and learning opportunities for the next generation.

Many employers will match your gift, thereby doubling or tripling the impact of your donation! Please check with your employer to see whether it offers a matching gift program. Often times, you will be required to submit a form to your employer with your donation amount and the date you made your gift.
