Daniella Sapone is a composer studying Music and Political Science at Barnard College. She is a musical theatre composer/lyricist, music director, and performer, and has debuted four new musicals at Columbia University. She recently composed, music directed, and conducted The 130th Annual Varsity Show: MAYDAY, a student-written musical satirizing life at Columbia University. She composes for various theatrical forms, including plays and dance performances. She enjoys collaborating and creating works that showcase underrepresented narratives. Daniella is the founder and president of First Stages, an organization at Columbia University dedicated to supporting the development and production of new musical theatre works.
