Faith Youn is a multidisciplinary creative with a background in violin performance, visual art, and arts administration. Hailing from the United States, she began playing the violin at age five and is a student at New York University, where she studies under Professor Cyrus Beroukhim.
A former principal second violinist of the Grammy Award-winning New York Youth Symphony and concertmaster of the Mannes Prep Symphony, Faith has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, and the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. An avid chamber musician, she was a finalist in the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s Young Musician Concert. In 2025, she studied at New York University Prague with violinist Adéla Štajnochrová.
Known for her expressive musicality, Faith is equally drawn to the administrative backbone of the arts and hopes to blend her love for classical music with her passion for people-centered work. She currently serves as a Student Leadership Council Member at the League of American Orchestras and as a Teaching Artist at The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, where she previously worked as an Education and Community Engagement Intern. She has also held roles as Personnel Manager at the New York String Orchestra Seminar, Program Operations and Media Intern at the Hawai’i Youth Symphony, Marketing Assistant and Program Editor at the Music Academy of the West, and Marketing Intern at the New York Youth Symphony.
In her free time, she can usually be found drawing, napping, or feeding the local pigeons.
